about

When I started this album I was listening to Boards of Canada after many years of not having listened them at all and as a result I feel their sound seeped into this work. I also wanted to bring an 80's sci-fi aesthetic to the music which resulted in tracks like Hackers Lair and Depth charge (also a nod to Steve Roach).

Wave Break is something a bit different to me but very chilled and organic sounding its more of a Chillwave or vapor wave track than Synthwave track.

When I was writing Cream Rush I straight away felt I was being influenced by Petshop boys. Throughout I've wanted to bring some slightly glitched drum elements into it something I've been experiment with a bit on the last few albums.

So this could be the most chilled album I've done with a few nods to BOC and other synth and retro artists but at the same time with some dark ambience to it and some parts that can be danced too.

The track "Axle Grease" is available for free or name your price.
